title: rb interlude II
synopsis: while two mysterious and yet incredibly important men, who may not be men at all, discuss the state of the universe, Rob and Paul have to meet with a planet of cultists and try to save them from destruction. destruction, it turns out, they actually want.

synopsis:  Rob and Paul get some unexpected guests on their ship and, of course, some craziness ensues. Rob also gets kind of drunk. a good time is had by all.

who are these fabulous dudes? let me tell you.

from left to right; the major players in the story

Lesath - also known as Alberto Descala. the mad scientist type, wants to take over the universe. he seems a lot older than he looks. has bionic arms. too ambitious for his own good.

Arthur Yahtzee (?) - an aimless vagabond adrift in space. isn't as human as he may or may not let on. he's either really, really mysterious or just really, really stupid.

Rob Blanc - the Defender of the Universe himself, a fairly average man from a fairly average Earth. he's hardly perfect, but he's a good-hearted person who's always ready to help someone in need. he's also an idiot.

Paul Grewald - the other half of the Defender duo. a sarcastic, otherwise reticent young teen with a spectacular gift for engineering. he's the one who gets Rob out of all his good-intentioned follies, whether he wants to or not.

Arthur Yahtzee (?) - a mysterious individual who has access to some terrifying power. not much else is known about him other than the fact he has some cool facial hair.

Whistler - a man who hangs out at the Bloody Towel bar who wheels and deals in seedy, underhanded anythings. though he's a high-level criminal, he's more than willing to help out people defending the universe.

Traumerei - an information dealer from Alklha III. though young, he's a key member in the biggest circle of information-grabbers and gossipers on the Network, hacking into government databases and all sorts of other criminal things.

synopsis: things get pretty crazy when Lesath puts the now-assembled RTD into operation. it's up to Rob and Paul to stop him from completely destroying the universe, but with time and space collapsing in on itself, is there really any way for them to succeed...?

synopsis: fresh from a battle with Lesath that they apparently won (maybe), Rob and Paul receive a distress signal from a nearby supply ship. space pirates and a really one-sided shootout quickly follow.

synopsis: Rob and Paul, in the wake of the Center of Justice's being stolen, converse and ultimately do battle with a certain mad scientist on his illusory monstrosity of a ship. lightsabers and giant robots abound.
